Earth Day EcoQuest

As part of Kabatapang’s Climate Action advocacy, we gathered members and friends from our sister club, the Red Cross Youth Interact, to join the Earth Day celebration of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City.​

 

Dubbed Youth EcoQuest, the event raised awareness about endangered species such as the dugong, tamaraw, and Philippine eagle, while educating participants on key environmental issues such as climate change, habitat loss, and the illegal wildlife trade. Through collaborative games and activities, Youth EcoQuest aimed to inspire its participants to become informed, responsible, and proactive environmental stewards.​​
